Ashley Pollard is from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Within days of graduating high school, Ashley got her first healthcare job as a phlebotomist at her local hospital back in 2004. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in 2009. She relocated to North Carolina, where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing and her Post-graduate Certificate in Nurse Education from UNC-Charlotte. She returned to her home state of Alabama in 2014 to complete her Post-graduate Certificate for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, as well as her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Ashley has worked in a variety of clinical settings including community and public health, home health, corrections, and many areas of psychiatry. She has served her community over the years by volunteering hundreds of hours as a nurse.

In addition to working in our office, Ashley also serves as an adjunct clinical professor for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner students at a nationally-acclaimed university. She enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and two rescue dogs in her free time.
